Brianna Barry, assistant volleyball coach at George Washington University, died on Monday, June 21.
Barry was entering her third season at GW. She was previously the head coach at Southeastern Oklahoma State University, where she spent five years in the lead role.
She played collegiately at Florida State and was named ACC Player of the Year in her senior campaign in 2009. That season she was named a Second Team All-American and the ACC Scholar-Athlete of the Year.
