LOCK HAVEN, Pa. – The Pennsylvania State Athletic Conference office announced this week’s women’s soccer athletes of the week. In the PSAC East, Natalie Holmes of Bloomsburg University captured offensive honors and Kylee MacLeod of Kutztown University earned defensive athlete of the week. Over in the PSAC West, Morgan Wissner of Edinboro University took offensive honors and Grace Kenyon captured defensive athlete of the week.

Holmes scored the Huskies’ only goal in the 1-1 tie with East Stroudsburg. She got the Huskies on the board first with a goal in the 32nd minute. Holmes recorded a penalty kick goal and an assist in the 4-0 win over Mansfield.

MacLeod scored her first career goal in the 16th minute against East Stroudsburg to put the Golden Bears on the board in the 4-0 win. MacLeod and the Kutztown defense kept both of their opponents off the board this week.

Wissner scored two game-winning goals this week. Her unassisted goal in the 75th minute against Mercyhurst secured the 2-1 win for the Fighting Scots. Wissner put the Fighting Scots on the board in the 34th minute against IUP en route to a 2-0 victory.
